• Royal Flora Rajaphreak Garden 

In 2006, the Royal Thai Government hosted the International Horticultural Exposition in Chiang Mai to celebrate King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 60th accession anniversary and 80th birthday, attracting over 3 million visitors. To capitalize on its success, the Cabinet authorized the Highland Research and Development Institute to manage the area as a botanical education and agro-tourism center starting December 11, 2009. His Majesty named it “The Royal Park Rajapruek” on January 23, 2010.

• Wat Phra That Doi Kham 

Literally means “Temple of the Golden Mountain,” this temple is perched on Doi Kham hill, surrounded by beautiful mountainous landscapes. This ancient temple has more than a 1,300-year history and is believed to have been built around 687 to enshrine Buddha’s relics.

• Premium Outlet 

Premium Outlet Chiang Mai, opened in December 2015, is located about 11 km from downtown and the airport, near the historic Baan Tawai village. Following the traditional Chiang Mai architectural style, it features shops along an open-air pedestrian street. The outlet hosts over 300 brands, providing discounts of up to 70% year-round, and is part of Thailand’s popular tourist destinations, alongside outlets in Pattaya, Phuket, Samui, and Krabi.
