Alpine Golf Resort-Chiang Mai was founded in the year 2000. It was the result of a design by Ron M. Garl, a famous American golf course architect. His vision was to create a world-class championship course that harmoniously blended with the beautiful natural landscape of Northern Thailand’s mountains and forests.
Since its opening, the course has quickly gained recognition as one of Asia’s premier golf destinations. This is due to its superb course quality, international-standard maintenance, and a variety of challenges that attract golfers from around the globe. The course also hosted several international tournaments, such as the Thailand Open in 2003, which further cemented its widespread reputation.
Originally, Alpine Golf Resort-Chiang Mai began as an 18-hole course. However, it has since been expanded and renovated and now features a total of 27 holes. These are divided into three distinct courses:
Course A (Sunrise Ridge)
Course B (Valley)
Course C (Mountain)
This expansion allows golfers to enjoy a greater variety of layouts and atmospheres across each course, ensuring Alpine remains a top destination for golf enthusiasts.
