Mae Jo Golf Resort & Spa officially opened in 2001. The course was designed by Thai architect Santi Woranan, with the main concept of creating a course that blends challenging play with the unique beauty of a tropical fruit orchard.

The course is conveniently located about 20 minutes from downtown Chiang Mai in the Mae Jo district. The site was originally an old pomelo orchard, which gives the course a lush and shady atmosphere. The various fruit trees provide not only shade but also a pleasant aroma, creating a relaxing experience for golfers.
