North Hill Golf Club has a relatively short history compared to other courses in Chiang Mai. It officially opened in 2011.

The course was built on the site of the former Mae Hia Golf Club, which was a 9-hole course. After the property was acquired, it was completely renovated and renamed North Hill Golf Club, with the goal of developing it into a modern, high-standard golf facility.

The new design focused on creating a contemporary layout that is challenging but also accessible to golfers of all skill levels. The course also takes advantage of the beautiful scenery, with the majestic Doi Suthep mountain serving as a stunning backdrop.
