Summit Green Valley Chiangmai Country Club opened in 1996. It was designed by renowned American golf course architect Dennis Griffiths. His design philosophy for this course was to blend a challenging layout with the natural beauty of Northern Thailand’s landscape.

The course is located on a large, flat plain in the Mae Rim district of Chiang Mai. Its design is characterized by beautiful topography, featuring a wide variety of trees and flowers. The main challenge and defining feature of the course are the large water hazards and strategic bunkers that are placed throughout the layout, creating both a scenic and demanding playing experience.
